HAPPY RETIREMENT “FRED“  

Fred Winterbon has worked for Liftway Limited for 42 years.  He started way back in 1975 at our original shop with owner Barrie Schram on Grand River Ave. with just 3 employees in total.

Fred has worked in every aspect of the company including as Parts Driver, Service Mechanic, Tilt Truck Driver, Service Manager, Parts Manager, IT and Office Administration, Inside Parts and Sales and was instrumental in setting up and developing Liftway’s current website.

In his retirement, Fred will continue to work off-site on our website and features which include informational items, monthly specials, new and used lift truck inventory and any new items that Liftway sources to meet the needs of our customers.

As Fred puts it,  he is looking forward to doing only FUN things like more golfing, cycling and pickleball – Fred is the President of the Brantford Pickle Ball Club. Fred is also responsible for the setup and upkeep of the Brantford Pickle Ball Club’s Website.  Anyone who knows Fred is aware that he has a passion for computers and is constantly upgrading his skills in all aspects of computer operations.

We all will miss Fred being in the office daily but sincerely wish him all the best for his retirement and his personally rewarding activities.  We most importantly thank him for all the years of dedicated service to the company, his fellow employees and our customers.
