Announcement – Bob Birkett Retirement
After 35 years of Service in many capacities at Liftway, it is with mixed emotions that we announce the retirement of Bob Birkett.
Bob started his career in the Liftway Service Dept. as a Technician, and then was promoted to Service Manager then moved over to the Sales side of the business as a Liftway Account Manager.
Bob handled many of the Brantford accounts along with Hamilton, Burlington and St. Catharines for many years and then when Liftway opened up the Chatham territory, Bob took on this assignment and covered the London, Sarnia, Chatham, and Windsor Territory until his retirement.
Bob has a cottage up in Tobermory where he will be now calling home.
Although we are very happy for Bob, we will all miss him and we sincerely wish him all the best in his retirement and want to extend our sincere appreciation for all his dedicated years of service.
We are please to advise to all our valued customers in Bob’s territory that Richard Wiebe has taken over for Bob, and many may have already been contacted by Richard or have had the opportunity to meet him.
Richard has many years of experience as a Sales & Marketing representative and will be your main person to contact for any of your material handling requirements. Richard joined Liftway in 2016 and is very passionate about providing his customers with a very positive experience in meeting all of their needs and expectations.
